Camping Rural Les Opillères

Worse experience ever in France and doing camping. We arrived and the women who rules it refused us even with free space saying some non sense covid excuses. That can be more or less acceptable or not but she literally kicked us out from the parking while trying to look for another place and with the children crying inside. She really needs to think if ruling a camping is what she really wants in live... Part2: Just by looking at the response you can see the type of person that rules de camping. There are plenty of better options in the area even when you arrive late (there was a heavy storm during the afternoon by the way).I didn't use the kids as an excuse, she almost took my phone from my hands to kick us out. And there was no other place to park safe in between of the turns of the road I'm afraid. So I think I'm not the one making my own excuses here...

Great little place, very rustic and charming! Grill spot included. Only downside is that it’s next to a country road so there’s some traffic noise. Highly recommend!

Camping paisible malgré la proximité de la route. Nous sommes venus à pieds et avons pu visiter pas mal d'endroits grâce aux chemins de randonnée, le train jaune et les bus qui sillonnent la zone (Fort de Mont-Louis, Villefranche, bains de saint thomas). Le camping est ombragé avec un coin barbecue. Accueil très sympathique. Pas de wifi. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter lors d'un prochain passage dans la région!
