Hostellerie de la Vallée

Very nice place to stay. Staff is very friendly, multilingual and accommodating. Breakfast was quite wonderful with a good variety of fresh foods. Ideally located for your travels around Luxembourg. Bonus access to a number of trails right outside. Plenty of parking as well.

We were in Luxembourg for the Saabmeeting ( Intsaab 2022) in Ettelbrück and we stayed in Hostellerie de la Vallée. It seems we did a good thing to made our reservation there, cause we're happy with our stay there. The hostess mrs Simon ( Martine ) is a very friendly woman. It was a nice place . The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast was very good, pretty much choices. About the region I can't say much cause we were more at the meeting in Ettelbrück than Heffingen / Soup. A cozy place run by a lovely lady and her family that assists her. The rooms (that I've seen) are small but highly sufficient. You can find a 2 people bed, a shower (not a bath) and a sink. The breakfast that is offered is exquisite. Fresh eggs, meat, cheese and bread are offered along side hot or cold beverages. You can a walk in the forrest near by, or take a walk (20 min)/drive(5 min) to a town nearby that offers varying types of forrest walks (from short and simple to long and intermediate level). It also offers a nice Chinese restaurant that I think you should visit. Highly recommend. Have a nice stay.
