Hotel Almrösl

An excellent base for a week ski-touring in the Grossarl valley. Room was adequate. The food was nothing short of excellent - plenty of breakfast for the day ahead. Lots of variety. Then soup in the afternoon, and a superb dinner in the evening. Friendly and helpful staff whether to serve more beer and wine or in my case to help mend a broken ski-boot. And advice on where to go including parking and the snow.

Brilliant base for ski touring (late March). Very friendly, great service, excellent food both apres-tour and in the evenings. Seven night stay in the Grosarl valley gave us plenty of options for tours despite warm conditions.
