The gentleman host is lovely and the B&B has a pretty little garden to enjoy. The shower is great and they provided some body scrub. There is a little basin and detergent for hand laundry, and a heated towel rack. He also provides a clothes drying rack which can be placed in the sun. The location is tucked out of the way, but it’s just a 15min walk to restaurants. The bed, pillows and mattress need to be updated. It feels like these items are very worn out. The towels in particular were very old and rough. In our instance, no breakfast was included. The experience would be improved by an investment into the basics. We’ve stayed at a few places in the same price range and received much better value for money. It’s fine for one night, but we just didn’t feel it matched the price point.
Franziska Mandallaz
Cycling along the Via Francigena to Rome, we stopped on April 26, 2022, at this haven of peace and quiet, overlooking a magnificent garden. The owner and his wife gave us a very warm welcome, and our two bikes found a place in the locked garage. The only downside is that in the morning it's hard to leave that overly comfortable bed ;-)
Savo Castello
The place is nice, it's a house full of musical objects, and for music lovers it could be the right place. The owners are nice people, very helpful. The price is also low, so if you're away for work it's ideal.
