Pension Strauß am Ossiacher See

We had a wonderful time at and around Pension Strauß not least because of Regina and Hans and family smoothly running the show with such charm and grace. Having arrived by train from England, we walked and hired bikes from the Bike Point to get as far as Feldkirchen via the reflooded wetland to the east. You need something to go shopping to supply our large second-floor flat as there’s only one small shop nearby in Ossiach. Restaurant zum Hexenpfandl was good, 5km there and back, and swimming beautiful in the Ossiacher See in the company of lots of fish. The flat was perfect for its comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and spotless condition. All highly recommended. ,

The best resort we've stayed at! We had a great holiday, clean, spacious, beautiful and cozy rooms. Excellent and rich breakfast, and very pleasant and cordial service. In addition to the site there is private access to the lake and boat, kayak and sap for guests to use. All the equipment is well maintained, just great. The kids had so much fun! And so are we, of course.

We will gladly come again!
