Amazing location and architecture! I stayed in Launge 2, it was very relaxing and cozy. Beds super comfortable as pillows. No slippers provided , they re charging extra 5€ for them, which is not understandable for hotel in this category. Outdoor pool is very small. Receptionists re very professional , and everyone else, expect one lady that was serving breakfast, which is not acceptable for this hotel… Breakfast honestly for me very regular On Sundays restaurant is not working…

The positives first: The hotel’s exterior and architecture are stunning: beautifully designed and surrounded by nature with a great view. The location is peaceful and feels very relaxing. Parking was easy, and the lady at the reception was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Some might find her style a bit too casual, but we really liked it. The lounge and bar areas were also beautifully done, and the self-service fridge at the bar for after-hours drinks was a nice touch. The included breakfast was amazing as well. Now for the downsides: The hotel heavily promotes its spa area, which unfortunately was disappointing. There were far too few loungers for the number of guests (maybe space for 20 people although the hotel can host around 50). Especially the “relaxation room” was just stuffed with garden loungers. There was barely an arm’s length between you and the next person, so not exactly the kind of atmosphere where you can unwind. The saunas themselves were nice and varied, and we appreciated the small two-person sauna option. The plunge pool was extremely slippery and covered in algae. I understand that natural pools can be like that, but this was actually concerning. The praised “heated” natural pool was 26 °C, a temperature you’d expect in a training pool, not in a spa. It was far too cold to enjoy, and no one dared to go in. For a spa that markets its outdoor pool as a highlight, that’s just not acceptable. I personally love pools more than saunas, so this was a big letdown. Unfortunately, the room was another disappointment. You could constantly hear the heavy fire door in the hallway slamming shut, our door even vibrated from it. Apart from that, the room was quiet, but it was extremely dusty. Every time we moved a pillow or blanket, clouds of dust were visible. The flooring was a mix of wood and tiles (visually very nice), so the amount of dust was even more surprising. The bathroom setup was also quite odd. There was no proper wall or door, just a curtain for “privacy,” which is very trendy, but might not be for everyone. The toilet had its own small room, but the light switch for it was located outside, around the corner and behind the hinge side of the door. Very impractical. There was only a tiny trash bin outside the toilet area, which is inconvenient, especially for women. From the bed, you had a direct view of the shower and the curtain was completely transparent. Some couples may not mind, but not everyone wants that level of exposure. I would have appreciated the option for a bit more privacy. Inside the shower, there was no shelf or ledge for toiletries, which meant putting everything on the floor. The provided shampoo was a 3-in-1 product (body, face, hair), something I’d expect from a budget men’s brand, not a 4-star spa hotel. At least the shower in the spa offered an additional bottle of conditioner. The toilet paper was also very thin and low-quality. We wanted to have a coffee in the lobby at noon, and even though there was a self-service coffee machine, a staff member rushed over asking for our room number to charge it - so even the self-service coffee wasn’t complimentary. Overall: The hotel has a lot of potential: it looks great and has friendly staff but it fails to deliver the comfort, maintenance, and spa experience you’d expect at this price point. We expected a lot more value and attention to detail.

New in 2023. Top notch spa w suanas and mineral pool. Roof top bar with view of the mountains. Walking/biking paths from the hotel entrance are Nordic trails in the winter and connect to all near by towns and resorts.
