Walking the Great Glen Way from Fort Augustus thorough Drumnadrochit to Inverness we were pleasantly welcomed by Ian our host, who was extremely friendly and went out of his way to make us feel welcome, a great start to our stay with a welcoming cup of coffee after a long 24 mile walk. The room itself had a great view and was comfortable, combined with a great breakfast compliments to the chef. Its was the eye for detail and extra touches that made Glen Rowan stand out especially the homemade blackcurrant jam, great. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, ideal for the long walk to Inverness. We both thoroughly enjoyed a very good experience we would recommend to anyone wanting somewhere to stay.

Loved the upstairs area and the open rooftop barbecue area. Peaceful and no traffic noise.Very clean and a great kitchen layout. Would book again.
