Vila Lion

I came here while hiking on Via Transilvanica because of the good reviews, and in over 1000 km it was the worst accomodation I've had by a very long shot. Including sleeping in a tiny tent somewhere among the sheep or the bears. I was given the basement room, maybe all other rooms are entirely different. The air inside was musty and unhealthy. The mattress was so old you could see with the bare eye it should have been thrown out 10 years ago, it was so saggy it was already cut into pieces by the frame underneath, and it smelled moldy. I slept on my inflatable camping mattress on the floor, because putting it onto the bed wouldn't create an even surface. A towel with a hole in it that smelled anything but fresh and one single greenish LED light on the wall, no other light source in the bedroom, did the rest. If I hadn't made the mistake of paying in advance, I would have walked out and pitched my tent. The owner was friendly, sorry for the devastating review, but that's how it is.

The owner is really polite and nice. The rooms are clean and have beautiful balcony. The price is fantastic. I recommend this so much.

With open space for parking and near the historic center of Sebes, the place is excellent. We stayed in the family suite, which offers 4 beds. The comfort mattresses were exactly what we needed after a day of driving. 5 Stars. ❤️
