Alpin Royal Hotel

I was initially unsure of booking, since there were only a handful of reviews. I can categorically say that my experience was absolutely top-class, completely exceeding my expectations. What drew me was the fact that it was not a self-service/self-check-in and was a high-end hotel that didn't decimate my budget. The booking process was a little strange, as it was more a reservation and pay on arrival, which made me a little nervous as a solo traveller not being sure I've paid to 100% secure a room. This may change with increased demand for rooms with my review from 02/2026. As with most of the Principality, the views of the surrounding landscape was astounding. The staff were all very friendly and spoke excellent English, and breakfast and dinner were exceptional. The chef deserves praise for dinner, which was a good selection of local cuisine delightfully prepared. Breakfast was a nice surprise, being blessed with astonishing views of the sunshine-splashed mountains surrounding the Rhine Valley while enjoying a fresh and tasty breakfast selection. The rooms and interior of the hotel looked very new and modern, so I suspect the hotel is very new (hence the lack of reviews, and hence me leaving a review to help out the business a bit). It is very modern and clean, with luxury furnishings, a huge bed, fully-opening windows and automatic shutters to keep the light out. The rooms must have a large square-footage, and the whole hotel feels very spacious but also cosy. The bathroom situation was a bit different - but not in a bad way! Unlike anywhere I have stayed before, there was a shower-room with a sink and a separate WC with a sink. Good for anyone who has a partner who takes long showers. I was hesitant about booking a stay at a casino but I felt absolutely no pressure to visit the casino. It is more like a hotel that has a casino on the bottom floor to be honest rather than a casino with a hotel attached, as they were very separate entities other than sharing a small reception area. Liechtenstein never felt like an unsafe place, but this hotel in particular has excellent security and safety. The only slight downer would be that it is located in a pretty random place, seeming to be in the middle of a car dealership business park. Signage and directions could be a little better, but if you have Google Maps or can look for taller buildings, you should be able to find it without too much difficulty. As I said, I initially had hesitations mostly because there weren't many reviews, but I would simply put that down to the hotel being new. Absolutely brilliant, very impressive and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely come back again in the near future! Thank you Alpin Royal, just please don't raise the prices loads as that will price people out. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone not wanting to pay through the nose for a comfortable and luxurious stay in a beautiful country :)

It's the best hotel in the area. The people working here are authentically lovely and make me feel like I'm home. By the way I can also recommend the food. The chef knows what he's doing.

We stayed there for one night to celebrate our anniversary. We received a very warm welcome and then ate at the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent. We had absolutely no complaints, and the staff was exceptionally attentive—more so than we've ever experienced before. The service at the breakfast buffet was also outstanding. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The room was clean and very spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Even in the casino, the staff were extremely courteous, and we had a fantastic evening. It was a lot of fun. We felt so comfortable. The hotel is a bit out of the way in an industrial area, but we still had a beautiful view of the mountains. I haven't felt so comfortable in a hotel in a long time, and I would definitely come back.
