Genusshotel Almrausch | Bad Kleinkirchheim

This is the second year in a row that I and my family stay here and combine excellent skiing upper in mountains with SPA pleasure in hotel. The hotel is very good positioned compared to ski piste and ski lift, and has extremely friendly staff that makes me feel comfortable and welcome. Inside temperature in all hotel spaces is very hot and helps to feel cozy. The food is recommendable in every sense, although I would like to have had some lighter and vegetarian options too. In order to make some complaint in way to improve it, there is less of pool beds in pool area and also closing of the pool is not enough good, which means a lot of open gap space between the joints where cold air enters (I hope the owners will fix it by next season). Summary, my warm recommendation for this hotel for all who read this review and attend to go in this small cute town.

A Perfect Blend of Charm, Comfort, and Scenery Our stay at this charming hotel was nothing short of wonderful. The location is unbeatable — nestled between the ski pistes, majestic mountains, and near to the sea (Millstätter See), offering the best of every world. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view from the balcony that made every morning feel like a postcard moment. The staff were generous, thoughtful, and consistently attentive — they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was amazing! Dinner quickly became our favorite time of day — the atmosphere was lively and full of energy. The hotel was buzzing with guests including their four legged family member. We were lucky to have the perfect table, giving us a front-row view of the beautifully choreographed service behind each multi-course meal. Watching the staff move in harmony to deliver such an experience was a delight. Everything about this place — from the setting to the service — reflects care, warmth, and genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for making it a memorable week!

The hotel looks great on the images and has good reviews but I’m surprised who is actually giving those at such high rate. The pool is closed not open as shown in the images so even we had nice snowy days there we couldn’t enjoy outdoor pool as advertised which was major reason we got this hotel. Pretty small and get packed easily, and works only till 7:30pm while dinner also starts from 6:30-7:30. Bit unusual schedule it would be better to be more flexible when on holidays. Lot of dishes were dirty on breakfast which is unacceptable for 4* hotel. The hotel accepts dogs but hygiene is not keeping up, clean bedsheets come with dogs hair. Not all rooms are at the same level of renovation even advertised under same category, would be better to divide those.
