Myrtle Cottage

Myrtle Cottage is a real gem, perfectly positioned to explore Exmoor and North Devon. Tyrone and Neil are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble and they really do think of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Their local knowledge is second to none, whether it’s a local walk or somewhere to enjoy a lovely evening meal. We have enjoyed two, week long stays at Myrtle Cottage during the last couple of years and booked our stay for next year before we left this time around. Tyrone’s breakfasts are amazing and cooked to perfection using quality local ingredients where possible, served impeccable by Neil. A massive thank you to you both for making our breaks extra special and we cannot wait to see you both again soon.

A fantastic little find. Only our second B&B after 27 years together and I think Tyrone and Neil have converted us. Just perfect, so many little details made the stay so memorable. We visited Valley of the Rocks after recommendation from you guys and it didn’t disappoint. Many thanks to you both.

Honestly, this is the best B&B I've visited. Neil and Tyrone are amazing hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The decor was beautiful and everything felt fresh and new. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. The rooms had everything you could possibly need. I loved the little touches such as cake on arrival, local chocolate in the room and biscuits. It is easy to park there and there are lots of lovely walks in the area.
