Appotel Dobel

Simple hotel. Seems fancy with the glossy floors. However the reception is mostly closed, so if there is something wrong, you're left doubting. You can call them anytime. Clean room and you can make it real dark inside. Tv was missing, but we weren't using it anyway. Wifi was not available, due to switching providers. Service was also nice, when around. Some doors however had marks of attempted break-ins with screwdrivers. That was suspicious. All in all, good hotel for a low price. Nice starting point for a hike.

The hotel is very old and basic. Beds are not the best. We were with 4 adults, got a 3 person room and an extra foldable bed with a horrible mattress. It was very hot, but we couldn't open the window because there were people outside, right under our window having a beer and talking loudly. Breakfast was okay. If there was no food left, it took them long to replace it

We visited the Hotel for 2 Days. It is a good and cheap Hotel. But the service is not the best. They are friendly but not very service oriented. The Room was nice but the shower was repaired with foil and tape and had no pressure. Its OK to stay at night but not more. The breakfast is small and special wishes seem impossible. In summary it was OK for 2 nights. Next time I visit a place in black forest it will be another hotel.
