We had an amazing time at Sunnyview, it is absolutely lovely! Despite being small Sunnyview is extremely comfortable, the space has been brilliantly and cleverly designed to fit in everything you need and it somehow manages to actually not feel small at all! The view from the bedroom is amazing and it is fabulous to sit at the breakfast bar (with a map of the area as your tabletop, a really nice touch) with your coffee/food and look out, at any time of day. The furnishing of Sunnyview is very tasteful and stylish. The Sunnyview manager, Charlotte, was great she was kind and efficient in all of my communications with her. We were also really impressed with the hard work put into Sunnyview's eco credentials. The area is, of course, stunning, with beautiful beaches within 2 minutes in whichever direction you walk. Highly recommended!

Never been to Devon before, now only want to stay at Sunnyview. Had a great time, Locals & other tourists so friendly. Felt totally relaxed. Sunnyview perfect location for, beach, site seeing, resting & the Start Bay Inn delivers fantastic value for money food. Could not recomend a better place to stay :-)))

Sad to say Sunnyview needs a little TLC. We arrived to find a rusty gate, dirty decking & patio furniture with a very rusty chiminea full of cigarette ends. Inside was clean with a few broken tiles on kitchen floor, mould in shower. Towels that were harsh & would have been white at one time, toaster full of bread crumbs has also seen better days. The bedding although old & bobbly appeared to be clean except for stained mattress protector. It was such a shame as it is a lovely quirky place to stay, with the most amazing sunsets. Located on a small lane just around the corner from the beach. The stairs are steep but we had been warned before hand. They were not a problem for us. The bedroom living area was bigger than expected. It is as described like being in a boat. We were notified before that a parking permit is no longer available. We were lucky for our 3 day stay we managed to park for free outside post office. We absolutely loved the quirky nature of this place & would return again if it ever gets updated. There is supposed to be a driftwood garden up the steep steps at the side of the cottage, sadly also neglected with broken gate & no where to sit, but the most amazing views of Torcross. We loved Torcross & recommend the Fish & Chips at The Boat house. If you want Ice cream buy it from the post office as it's much cheaper.
