*Review for the restaurant only* In general this experience was below our expectations considering the price and Michelin recommendation. About the food: The first 3 dishes were too salty and not correctly balanced. The carrot of the main dish was not peeled and the zucchini was not seasoned. The meat was nice and well cooked. The dessert was good. About the experience: Half of the table were not set which gave the room an empty and unpleasant feeling. The handyman constantly passed through the restaurant carrying something. At the end of the night the staff went to sit outside to talk while we were waiting to order something. To conclude the food and service of the restaurant was disappointing, while there definitely is potential.

A hidden gem! This restaurant/hotel offers a stunning panoramic view over the Italian and Slovenian landscape and endless vineyards — the perfect setting for a relaxing summer escape. The ambiance is peaceful and elegant, not too crowded, allowing you to truly unwind. Perfect not only for wine lovers but also as a romantic hideout to surprise your partner. The service is top-notch — friendly, attentive, and warm. The wine selection is impressive, featuring not just a variety, but truly exceptional, carefully curated wines. Some offer a rich, woody character, while others are light and refreshingly crisp. Prices are not too expensive and are reasonable. If you're looking for a place to enjoy quality wine, serene atmosphere, and great hospitality, this is a must-visit.

Never again! Our room was very small and warm (12 m2, supposedly of category “superior”) and with a noisy air conditioner. But our main complaint is that this hotel has a severe management issue. It was a Friday afternoon (July 26, 2024) : without prior notice, we were told at 4.30pm that in a few minutes the pool and bar would be closed to hotel guests and reserved for a private party for the rest of the evening. We had to put up with their music and dozens of loud, drunken people until the middle of the night, whereas the bar normally closes at 21:00. We called three different phone numbers to complain, but no one answered. The staff were clearly sorry but powerless in the face of the management's contemptuous treatment of regular hotel guests like us.
