What a lovely stay The rooms were very cosy. We had the attic room, I had the side with sloping ceiling as husband is tall, the bed was super comfy. The soap and shampoo in the shower were luxurious. The expresso machine with pod was a nice touch. The biscuits were delicious. The restaurant was very friendly, especially Karen the manager she dealt with food intolerance issues and she was extremely friendly, staff were well trained Karen runs a great restaurant. The food was great. Thank you recommended

Fantastic, historic location. Room in the attic was small, but ok for a single night. Quite pricey, but if you want something unique and not your usual chain hotel, it's perfect. Lovely touched like the DAB radio, good mini bar and little extras. Excellent service and food in the bistro. Very friendly and helpful staff, they should be praised for their impeccable customer focus. Be aware that check-in for the rooms is in the bistro and parking requires picking up a permit (free), again from the bistro. All in all, highly recommend and would stay again.

I had such a great experience staying at Residence One. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed — the staff were friendly, professional, and made everything feel effortless. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and clearly designed with care. Everything I needed was right there, and I really appreciated the quiet, cozy atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the breakfast. It was far beyond the typical hotel spread and it was very delicious.
