Shore Surf School

Laurence was a great teacher, he explained rip currents and the safety measures needed in surfing better than any other surf class I've been to. I also managed to stand up on the board more than in any lesson I've had before and the wetsuits we were given were even bone dry, making them much more pleasant to put on!

Loved Our Time with Shore Surf School! Me (Martin, 41) and my boys, Matthew (17) and Eric (12), had an absolute blast with Shore Surf School in St Ives. Our coach, Felix, was a proper legend! He took us through all the important stuff like staying safe in the water and how to catch a wave, and he made it so easy to pick up. Honestly, he was so patient and full of good vibes that we were all stoked by the end. By the time the lesson wrapped up, we were actually surfing—riding waves and all! It was such a buzz, I can’t even tell you. We were so hooked that we went back the next day to rent some gear and have another go on our own. The equipment was spot-on, and the folks there were dead friendly. If you’re in St Ives and fancy a surf, you’ve gotta check out Shore Surf School. Felix and the team are the real deal—100% recommend!
