Malaga Hills, Adults Only boutique, wellness & hiking Eco-Hotel.

What a great place to stay. We have loved our 5 nights in Competa. The hotel is really well equipped for such a small number of rooms but the service is exceptional. From recommended walks and restaurants to the library, massages, pool and sub terrace. Breakfast is lovely, served with love every morning at 9am. Cómpeta has lots of restaurants and is about 20 minutes walk. This is the place to go if you want peace and quiet, to relax and enjoy the fabulous sunsets. Cannot rate Malaga Hills highly enough.

It was the perfect hotel to round off our vacation. We enjoyed being active in the mornings (highly recommend the boxing classes with the lovely Kate!) and relaxing in the afternoons. The hosts and their attentive team are incredibly helpful with organizing everything, and their warm, personal touch made our stay truly special.

What an excepcional and warm couple Vreneli & Ruud are, just for the sake of meeting them is worth travelling to the hills of Cómpeta village. But if that wasn’t enough, it’s a huge pleasure to stay at their hotel, a little secret paradise hidden in the mind blowing region of Axarquía (east of Malaga). Extremely comfortable and quiet place, with astonishing views of the mountains, white villages and vineyards all around, even the Mediterranean Sea nearby. The hotel's environmental footprint is minimal and knowing that as a guest makes the stay even more relaxing. It’s a been a great weekend at Malaga Hills and the village of Cómpeta. We will be returning soon!.
