Hotel Dufour

We stayed there in July 2014. The hotel is really beautifully renovated. The rooms are not only very comfortable, clean and practical but also elegant and refined with a mix of old and modern furniture. The couple that owns & manage the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The food was really very nice both for dinner and breakfast. We warmly recommend you to stay. Moreover, the village is really attractive too, not to speak of the montains surrounding. We strongly recommend this hotel.

Terrible experience with Hotel Dufour. Today I tried to contact the hotel seven times in the afternoon, from 1:16 PM to 5:24 PM, with no response. Not only did no one answer my calls, but I didn't even receive a callback or even a simple message saying I'd be contacted as soon as possible. I fully understand that there can be busy times, but completely ignoring a guest for over four hours is behavior I find truly unprofessional. Even a brief message or callback would have been enough to demonstrate care and respect. This type of customer service unfortunately gives a very negative impression of the hotel's management. If this is how potential guests are treated even before booking, I can't imagine how the service is during their stay. A decidedly disappointing experience.
