Our stay at Hotel Belvedere in Grindelwald was truly unforgettable and easily one of our best travel experiences. We stayed in a top-floor room, and the views were simply breathtaking. From our room, we enjoyed uninterrupted panoramic views of the Swiss Alps, waking up each morning to snow-capped peaks and golden light spilling across the mountains. It felt like a postcard come to life. The hotel’s location is perfect—just a short walk from the station, making it incredibly convenient for day trips and onward journeys around the region. Despite the central location, the hotel feels peaceful and luxurious. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. A special thank you to Yanna, who provided an excellent check-in experience and shared wonderful suggestions on things to do in and around Grindelwald. She, along with the rest of the team, was exceptionally polite, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. The lobby and bar deserve special mention. The lobby offers stunning views that you can enjoy even before heading out for the day, and the bar is beautifully designed—chic, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after a day in the mountains. The highlight, however, was the spa and outdoor heated pool. Swimming in the warm pool while snow was falling around us was magical and something we will never forget. It was the perfect blend of luxury and alpine charm. Overall, Hotel Belvedere exceeded our expectations in every way—from the views and location to the service and amenities. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grindelwald.

Unassuming on the outside, this was not a hotel I would have chosen had it not been for a friend's recommendation. So glad I did! First, the service was awesome. Everyone was friendly, and the front desk staff took care of us - from lift tickets to how to get places or what to do, to changes in our reservation - they did it all with a smile. The rooms were Euro-modern, spotless, and well-appointed. Restaurant was good (if you want to get into their Michelin-starred option, 1910, book well in advance!). The lobby views made you want to spend your afternoons sipping an Aperol Spritz and gazing at the Eiger or skiers making their way between mountain-side chalets.

Hotel Belvedere is perfect place if one needs to recharge his/her batteries and enjoy a 100% stress-free stay. People at the reception, shuttle-car, and bar/restaurant are great, friendly, attentive and helpful. The room I had was very well sound-insulated, which allowed for a good night's sleep after a full day of skiing. The atmosphere with live music in the lobby (both guitar and piano) was of a great quality.
