Hotel Alpenblick - Grindelwald

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here in September! From the very beginning, the owners made us feel incredibly welcome. They are genuinely kind, attentive, and clearly take pride in running their business with care and heart. Their helpfulness made our stay even more special. The property itself is charming, cozy, and full of character. Breakfast was included and it was excellent—fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start each day. We also enjoyed some drinks during our stay, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm, relaxed, and truly enjoyable. And the views… simply breathtaking! Whether we were relaxing inside, enjoying breakfast, or even just looking out from our bedroom window, we were surrounded by stunning mountain scenery that felt almost unreal. The location is perfect—peaceful, beautiful, and conveniently close to everything you need. Overall, our September stay was superb from start to finish. This is the kind of place you always hope to find when you travel: welcoming people, great service, amazing atmosphere, and unforgettable views. Highly recommended!

I am a Ski instructor in Grindelwald kleine Scheidegg. I came here since the age of 3 and know the area well. I have had a great stay at alpenblick and there is no place with a beter worth for money. Everything is clean, the people are nice and there is breakfast. In the evening you can buy dinner in the restaurant which is prepared by a great quality chef. Also the price is great! I really couldn’t say anything bad about the place and I would highly recommend to everyone. If it’s you solo, a couple or a family, this is the place. Best of luck, Adriaan

Well-priced accommodation with quick bus access to the main ski lifts in the area. As the name suggests, the view is spectacular. Also within reasonable walking distance of the town centre. The staff are extremely hospitable and always made me feel at home. I stayed as the sole occupant of a four-bed dorm. With only two power sockets (plus USB-C and USB-A ports), a single light in the room and no storage in the room itself, I imagine it would have been cramped if I was sharing the dorm with a stranger. Having the whole dorm room to myself was quite cozy, however. The continental breakfast buffet was well stocked and highly appetising. Limited cooking facilities (microwave and kettle) were also available.
