Restaurant Le Chalet des Bains

Great terrasse. They serve traditional dishes but have a daily menu that is worth trying. The cook is good and the prices reasonable.

One of the best restaurants in the area, the waiter was so nice to me specially when I wasn't sure about a specific dish and he advised what I take and he was right, very nice hospitality, felt welcomed, I took the cheese fondue which was my first try in this restaurant and a mixed salad and both were perfect and prices are reasonable. Definitely will come back again here.

The food was just okay. I got a "croûte au fromage" and my wife a roesti. Both meals were quite soggy, as if the oven/stove temperature was too low or they were rushing the food out. I live in a swiss mountain town and am around this kind of food a lot. Unfortunately this meal felt more like a "tourist restaurant" than an "chalet experience". Service was quite quick (maybe that was the problem) though it did take excruciatingly long to get the check and pay the bill. Staff, drinks, desserts were all fine, but nothing to write home about.
