Abbey Court Guesthouse

One night stopover in Carlisle visiting family and friends - this was a perfect B&B for what we needed. Close to the train station, nice and welcoming - family friendly vibes. Really well done throughout with new carpets, lots of nice pics to look at, boutique decorations. Very comfortable warm room with everything you need, and the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Worth booking direct so you know you’re fully supporting a local business.

Impromptu visit to Carlisle to take in a football match. Very centrally located and has some parking spaces right outside. We booked the ground floor apartment. This place is really great, very clean and well maintained. A warm welcome from the hosts as well and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The apartment itself is self contained and has a cooking space. The lounge could perhaps do with some blackout curtains as the shop across the road has a fondness for neon lights which can get in to the lounge. This isn’t a problem in the bedroom where you don’t notice them. But all in all, an excellent place to stay in Carlisle and we’d definitely book again. Thank you very much!

Kelly was a fabulous host. Helped in any way she could. Hosted our hen do, allowed us to use the breakfast dining room to play games and have some fun before the ladies moved on out into town for more shenanigans. Thank you so much
