Great hotel (also known as Albergo La Torre). Located right outside the gate at the far end of town. Grocery across the street. One of my favorite towns on the Via Francigena. The owner couldn’t be nicer. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is private, hot shower, good blow dryer. Had wished we had better weather for our balcony and clothesline outside. Better than hotels we paid double for. I would stay here again.

A pilgrim’s gem full of Tuscan character We arrived at Hotel Nocchi Siro after a gruelling uphill slog from San Quirico d’Orcia. The property is full of charming, faded glory. Rooms are comfortable, and some include full baths. The owner gave us a wonderful, warm Tuscan welcome. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast before setting off toward Acquapendente. The location is excellent. It sits right around the corner from Bar Enoteca La Stella and a short walk from Ristorante La Grotta, which serves hearty, unfussy meals. With a grocery store nearby for stocking up, this hotel is perfectly positioned to continue your journey. Highly recommended.
