Penwyn Bed and Breakfast

Fabulous view from our bedroom window. The room was very clean. The shower was amazing. There were home made biscuits which were fabulous and the breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect and a fine min walk from the centre. Simon was so friendly and accommodating. Loved this place.

Penwyn is an excellent bnb, which is located in the most ideal location in the centre of town. Despite its central location, it is nice and quiet as the guesthouse is found up one of the hills on a side road. The room was so clean, spacious and bright, with everything we needed (plus some lovely, homely touches) for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Breakfast was delicious, with a selection of cereals, spreads, yoghurt, toast, and a cooked breakfast, which was made to order. Breathtaking views of the harbour are what made the stay even more spectacular though- and they're seen directly from the balcony of the room! Not to mention the delicious cookies that were homemade by the host, Simon, left in our room daily. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We'll return I'm sure!

Came for a long weekend stay. Have never been here before was was pleasantly surprised with the room and the beautiful view over the harbour. Everything we could need was provided including a small fridge which was very much appreciated as it was very hot during our stay. Can not fault anything with the room/en-suite. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked, Simon gave us a choice of what we would like as well as cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Again can not fault breakfast. Freshly cooked, amazingly delicious biscuits were put in our room each day along with fresh milk and tea/coffee top ups and fresh towels where needed. Even Storm, the resident cat was lovely. All in all I have to say I couldn’t be happier with our stay here and will definitely be coming again. (5 stars)
