Fontana

One-week July visit. We feel we hit the jackpot with the Chalet Fontana. For us, it was a relative bargain for a pricey town, since we got a discount for a long stay. Denise works hard to keep her place tidy and friendly. And hangs out for several hours during breakfast to help guests plan their stay. We think we got the best room (upstairs and over the “main street” though torn). Book early to snag this gem.

What a great B&B. Denise took great care of us. Chalet Fontana is right in the heart of Murren and a stone's throw away from the Coop grocery store where we bought food stuff to prepare at the Chalet. We had a wonderful time! The only "complaint" is that I am 6'-5" (196cm) tall and had to be aware of the low ceilings :) .

We stayed in Chalet Fontana in both the front rooms and in the apartment. We found the accommodations quite nice, especially the apartment. And the location was just superb. Right in the middle of everything with gorgeous views. There's a great restaurant directly across the street, and the market about 30 steps away. Plus, the staff was very, very accommodating and helpful. 5 stars for great service!
