Portree Campsite

A stunning location with great amenities. They have built a beautiful new modern showers and bathrooms facility which are just beautiful, the only thing we would add to it are a few more plugs for hairdryers. There is a fantastic laundry room which is FREE, anyone who camps or rvs knows this is a great freebie. Very good hook ups for camper vans and RVs. Taxis service is good if you want to go down to the town. Will definitely be back again to this site.

Really great campsite - you can safely ignore a lot of the older reviews, as the place has evidently been completely revamped recently. I stayed here for two nights while exploring The Isle of Skye. The showers/toilets were immaculately clean and there were plenty of them. The laundry/dishwashing area had provided dish soap, sponges, radiators for drying boots/towels, and free to use washers+dryers. The pitches themselves had plenty of space and the campsite was quiet at night for the nights I stayed. The staff were also super friendly and helpful with my questions.

Lovely campsite. All the toilet/shower blocks refurbished last year and they are very nice. Constant hot water. Laundry room is well equipped and I like that there’s 5 tumble dryers and three large radiators. Views are rather nice too!
