Quintessential B&B

We had a delightful couple of nights at this charming cottage. Angela is a welcoming and thoughtful host who greeted our arrival with a glorious homemade cream tea. Our breakfasts were superb too! The room and en-suite were spotless and very comfortable with spectacular views across to St Catherine's Chapel. Abbotsbury is a great base for exploring this coastline and both The Tropical Gardens and The Swannery are an easy walk. Highly recommend.

We had a brilliant couple of nights at Quintessential B&B while we were in Dorset to celebrate my sister's wedding. It's ideally located, just a short drive from the stunning Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens. Angela is the perfect host-friendly and attentive while still giving us plenty of space and privacy. The building is a lovely cottage, with 3 thoughtfully decorated rooms and views of Abbotsbury and the surrounding countryside. We booked all 3, so the whole of the bride's family could stay together. The rooms are comfortable, especially the beds. Angela's breakfasts were amazing, with a choice of full English or salmon and scrambled eggs, as well as fruit, yoghurt, cereal, and toast. We were even greeted with tea and cake when we checked in, which was delicious! I would 100% recommend Quintessential B&B and will stay there again if we're ever in the area.

We absolutely loved this wonderful B&B. The village is really charming, the cottage is a real authentic English cottage and Angela is the perfect host. We were welcomed with a cup of tea and a cake, Angela made a very delicious and even vegan breakfast for us and even got us vegan milk and cookies. We would definitely recommend this B&B.
