Hotel Matteotti

Stayed for one night in early august 2024 while travelling north. Hotel (and the city) was quite empty, main season is spring, in believe. Pro: friendly staff (gave good restaurant tips), free parking, location decent (10min walk to city center). Reasonable price for what you get. Con: Rooms quite old (poor noise insulation), aircon was not working very well. Cleanliness not too great. Weird interior design. :)

This small hotel in strategic location looks inside much better than you may expect from the street. Good car park inside large courtyard. Relatively cheap. Very clean and all full functional. Friendly reception and owner, doing all possible for the guest. Breakfast on the room. The room design is exalted in italian pop colors of the 90s to raise the mood. The owners should resist all complaints and cultivate this consistent design by only refitting defect parts. I studied architecture. Contra: lift defect, but for myself I don't need one, I'm a climber :)

This hotel is not exactly in the centre but at the same not too far. It’s just a walk to centre. The reception was very nice,helpful and welcoming. As this is winter,the rooms were very warm. Breakfast is included. The owner is really nice. I would definitely recommend this for a stay in vercelli
