Gasthof Restaurant Dorfstube

A wonderful getaway. The wheelchair accessible room worked wonderfully. Everything was impeccably clean. The breakfast was delicious, pretty much the usual European buffet breakfast, but with even more meat choices. Breads and desserts are marvels of house-made treats. Dinners were outstanding, probably the best restaurant food we had during our two weeks in Europe. Martin, the owner is not merely gracious, but he is keen-eyed and anticipates one's needs amazingly! My wife had stayed there last year during a hiking tour and couldn't wait to get me there this year. The setting is a picturesque little village surrounded by mtns, with ready access to the bike-way and the walking path that follow the Lech River for over 70 miles/125km. We would come back in a heartbeat, for the food, the hospitality, the feast does, and the quietness of a little Austrian village. We got here by public transportation with no problem. The hotel also provides an activity card which covers free local bus rides and a free gondola ride up the local tallest peak, the Jöchelspitze.

Great food served quickly, the staff is really nice and having some smalltalk is no problem. The interior design has a very charming look and reminds of traditional restaurants. I can only recommend getting something of the local specialties.

Love the hotel . Clean modern with rustic charm . Lovely food, lovely wellness area . Friendly and polite staff. For what you pay , it is well worth it. Only down side is the size of the bar but I can live with that. Will come again when back in that region 😀
