Two Side House Farm

What a place to be honestly! We stayed in No1 and I have no complaints, all rooms were cosy and clean. And there’s just no better feeling than going for an adventure in one of the best valleys in the Lake District and then ending the day around the fire in a cottage with insane views looking back towards the Langdale Pikes. You leave wishing that this could be your home it’s just the nicest place to be. The owners also couldn’t do enough to help us with our stay, from hike recommendations to extra firewood and everything else in between. You could spend an entire week here and still have plenty of walking left to do. The possibilities are endless! Bonus: there’s two really decent pubs in the valley too, The Old & New Dungeon Ghyll both within a 15 minute walk from the cottage

the most gorgeous farm house. we stayed in One side house cottage and it was gorgeous. the two farmer's who let it are wonderful and even let us join in on feeding their highland cows! the perfect base to explore the Langdale valley.
