Hotel Xalet Besolí

We had an amazing stay here. We weren’t totally sure what to expect, but it beyond exceeded expectations and truly felt like home for a week. The hospitality at the hotel, thanks to Micky, Sandra, Matisse, and Esteban was very warm, helpful hosts (and very patient with my rusty Spanish). The room was ideal for a ski trip: warm, cosy, great view, TV, and everything you need after a day on the slopes, plus a super handy ski/boot locker room downstairs. And the nightly 3-course dinner option is absolutely worth it. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, the tomato soup was outstanding, and the Catalan beef stew with mushrooms was a highlight. We thought we’d eat out more, but kept choosing to eat here instead. Would definitely come back!

We’ve just returned from a fabulous ski trip in Arinsal and a stay at the Besoli. We (4 adults and 2 young kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owners were really accommodating and friendly, the food delicious and the rooms comfy. Basic accommodation, but clean, great value and well positioned. It is a bit of an uphill walk to the gondola, so would recommend renting a locker at the top of the gondola (especially if with kids). Thanks for having us Mick and Sandra!

We (two adults and two kids) have just returned from a week in Arinsal, staying at the Xalet Besoli and what a lovely hotel this is. The hosts, Micky and Sandra as well as all their staff, can't do enough for you and it is clear they work extremely hard to ensure you have a great stay! The rooms are basic but clean and the beds are new and comfy which ensured a good nights sleep. The hotel is approximately 600m from the lifts so hiring a locker at the top of the gondola is recommended, but the distance also means it is lovely and quiet at night. The food is superb, with a cold buffet and hot breakfast in the mornings and evening options of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 deserts covering most tastes and traditional Catalan dishes (they also have some specials if you don't fancy what you see). We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this hotel if you are considering a stay in Arinsal.
