We had a great holiday in Erlebnishotel Kärnten - Mölltal in March 2022. The hotel is owned and run by a very hospitable Austrian family. You'll find here the typical Austria cosiness and warmth. The food was very tasty and made by their son, who studied to be a cook. They renewed their wellness area last year very nicely. The wellness area consists of a finish sauna, a steam room and 2 relax areas. We had the whole wellness area for us alone (we went during low season). If the hotel is fully booked, it however could be crowded, cause the wellness area is rather small. Our room was not the newest one, but nice, big enough and with a balcony. The bathroom was equipped with a shower, toilet and sink. Everything looked clean. The hotel has 3 charging stations which can be used by their guests (for free by the time that we were there). The Mölltaler glacier lift is ca. 20 min. away by car. The hotel offers a good value for money! We will for sure recommend it further.

We love this hotel! Very friendly staff and the owners Jens and Manuela will do everything they can to give you a wonderful time here. We where lucky to join the gala party and the owners perform from 8pm till 11pm with real Austrian music. If you are planning to visit Kartnen then visit this hotel. We highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, I have to join the dissatisfied visitors of this hotel. We booked the hotel through the company Invent, whose voucher we received as a gift. But for that reason, we were looked upon as someone worse than other visitors to the hotel. For dinner we had to pay €32 instead of €25.90, which was the price for "normal" visitors. This was due to the fact that the voucher contained €60 for the use of the hotel's services, for which this very dinner was booked for us. I know I shouldn't care if I got the voucher as a gift, but it's just a matter of principle. If I leave this fact aside, the rooms were nicely cleaned, but there was basically no equipment except wardrobes and a TV that could be connected to via WiFi. In addition, we had a window from the bathroom basically directly on someone's balcony and there was no air conditioning or refrigerator in the room. For the price of €110 per night, this seems quite poor to me and I would recommend looking at another hotel, as the rooms are really hot even during the night.
