Dominikushütte - Zillertaler Alpen

We stayed at Dominikushütte for one night at the end of September and it was such a memorable experience. The owner welcomed us warmly even though we arrived late, and made us feel right at home. We had two meals there - dinner and lunch the next day. The food was fantastic – fresh, flavourful, and prepared with so much care. Don’t miss trying their Kaiserschmarrn – it was a real treat! The hut itself is sparkling clean, cosy with stunning views, and both the owner and his daughter were wonderfully kind and attentive. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy good food, warm hospitality, and breathtaking scenery. We’ll definitely be back!

It's in a perfect location and has nice food. There are several hiking trails close by. The owner and his wife were hospitable and treated me like a friend. The owner said I was the first person to stay there for 10 days, and I enjoyed it. :D I would recommend this place for anyone. It's worth visiting again!

Absolutely worth to stay! Firstly, location - it's stunning, right at the Schlegeeis, just 5 min to the one and only bus stop there. The staff is great! Super friendly. And the food is really good. So, everything you need before and after a long hike is there. You can even leave the clothes to wash and collect them dried in the morning. The shower is available for 2 Euros for ~5 min. And it've also very clean there.
