Not really excited, stayed for 2 nights and wanted to leave after one night actually. The village sarzana is nice and the rooms are nice. very hot, no ac or van. Breakfast not very special, and especially as you needed to order with someone who did not speak english. ButThe lady of the house speaked no word english and was not very welcoming. Okay for just one night to explore sarzana, but not more. Price is good.

Unfortunately, it was a negative experience. The room quality was very poor. It was poorly cleaned, the furnishings were basic and low-quality, and the bathroom was tiny, with no shower stall and a showerhead over the toilet. There was no air conditioning; it was a hot, muggy day, making it impossible to stay in the room. There was no privacy at all; you could hear every sound, and in the evening, noise and cigarette smoke drifted from the restaurant below. Breakfast was a joke. It took half an hour to have just a few items delivered, and the wait was unnervingly slow. A ridiculous establishment; I certainly won't return, but maybe it should close.
