Finca Santa Catalina Casas Rurales

Whenever I travel I try to look for charming accommodations to escape the hordes of tourists that already invade everything. That is why I chose this Finca and I must say that I am very happy. Well-kept accommodation, in a quiet area (with nice bars and rest) and very close to the sea. When, in addition to finding a place like this, you see that it is run by a person as kind as Chelo, then you can't ask for more. I arrived late with the last ferry and she waited for me and she was also kind enough to take some time and give me the information I needed about the island, and more. We stayed at Finca Santa Catalina in Hermigua from November 4th to 18th, 2024. The owner, Chelo, is absolutely lovely, helpful, and caring. Our spacious apartment was clean, fully equipped, comfortable, and in a great location. We felt very much at home and would love to go back! 100% recommended.

We were three people staying this Easter. The house was wonderful, with two bedrooms and two enormous beds. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The view from the terrace was spectacular! Sea, mountains, banana plantations, and Tenerife with Mount Teide in the background. Chelo, the owner, was very attentive at all times. The location was great for getting around the island (I was a little scared, thinking we'd gone too far, but we hadn't). Highly recommended. Plus, Hermigua has plenty of delicious places to eat lunch or dinner if you're spending all day on the road, as we were.
