Hôtel-Restaurant Famille Defive

Well… the bed linen was clean, but to be candid, this place is pretty shabby. The owners use the bar area as their living room. Old junk is piled up on tables and in public areas. The family owners were pleasant, but check-in time is actually mid afternoon and they don’t serve breakfast until 8:30, which consists of bread, processed cheese and juice, coffee or tea.

We stopped here for a quick drink. We got the drink fast and it was cold so that was a + Unfortunately a worker / owner / family member was sitting outside next to us. Playing loud video sounds on his phone from tiktok or something else. Wich was quite annoying. After a while he lit a cigarette. Which killed the mood for us even further. Place looks like it could use a big upgrade. You get old pub vibes from it .

We got a downgrade due to circumstances in the hotel, instead of a bathroom we had a leaky shower cabin in the room and had to go to the hall for the toilet. Not what we had in mind for our vacation here unfortunately. Got €10 refund for that from where we booked. The location is beautiful though.
