Nice hotel in a quiet part of town. I say quiet, but someone had their TV turned all the way up each night I was there. Very annoying. Breakfast was included, and there is a variety of items. I never saw the bar open. There is an honor bar if you want to pay typical high hotel prices for snacks and drinks. Hotel is a little hard to find but does provide parking. It's also an easy walk to the center of Füssen and a short drive to the castles. Hotel also provided a free bus pass. Staff was friendly and nice, but all the paperwork seems to take time and a little 20th century. As others mentioned, they added another tax when I arrived. Overall, it is worth considering if you're in the area.

Charming hotel with a great location overall. Breakfast was remarkably average - nothing stand out or special at all, especially when compared to other hotels in Bavaria. Rooms on second floor may have an awkward slant above the bed (pictured), could be a problem if you’re tall or get up abruptly and hit your head on the ceiling. Beds aren’t the most comfortable, with a rough bedsheet that seemed a bit old but they aren’t unbearable. At evening and night, airflow into the room keeps it somewhat tolerable temperature wise, but it can get very hot during the day in summer. It would be a nice improvement to have fans in the rooms during summer. As for extras/amenities: little pool and sauna are refreshing after a day of hiking or sightseeing. Parking onsite was available with no issues. Overall - can be recommended depending on what else is available in town. Cheers!

We really enjoyed our stay in Fussen and at the Activ Hotel Schweiger. The rooms were big and nice and the staff were all very friendly. We will visit again!
