Quartier Elbblick

We stayed in the house for a long weekend with nine people plus our dog. The house is well-located; we were able to easily arrive and depart using public transport. We started a fantastic hike directly from the house and enjoyed the sun on the terrace overlooking the Elbe River and using the barbecue! The rooms were well laid out, clean, and lovely. We especially liked the kitchen, which is well-equipped and, above all, suitable for a large group. This made cooking much more enjoyable for everyone! Regarding the critical reviews, I can say that I did see a portable clothes drying rack, and there were plenty of parking spaces available on the street down in March. Of course, this can vary depending on the season. The many stairs to the house weren't a problem for us. We did miss having a sufficiently large, comfortable seating area with sofas or similar furniture that would offer enough space for everyone. The two smaller sofas upstairs were unfortunately a bit too small. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time and can highly recommend this accommodation!

Good accommodations for a larger group. A well-equipped kitchen, a grill, and a terrace are available. Nice rooms and two bathrooms. The entrance stairs are a bit long, but manageable. The advantage is that the path to the rock is nearby. And the view is pretty good.

Upon arrival, there was no parking space belonging to the accommodation; we had to search for half an hour. If you think that was the end of it, you're wrong—then the hauling of suitcases began. There are exactly 80 steps, with breaks and inclines. The accommodation is quite dated. Washing clothes is possible, but drying them is difficult. The dryer is broken, and there's no clothesline. The shower cubicles leak. Using the upstairs bathroom is only for the brave. If you open the door all the way, you risk falling down the stone stairs. There's no Wi-Fi, and some of the lights and blinds are broken.
