Inveroran Hotel

I recently stayed here when walking the West Highland Way. I arrived at 6.00pm looking like a drowned rat after walking all day in the rain. The beautiful lady at reception had my wet gear, smelly boots and backpack off in seconds all whipped off to the drying room ready to start fresh the next day. The food was the best I’d had for the entire journey. I was so over fish and chips. The meal here was beautifully presented, tasted delicious and for the first time in Scotland I had green vegetables on my plate. I was worried about the shared bathroom but it was absolutely fine. I had a great sleep and walked down to the most amazing breakfast the next morning. The owners here deserve to do well. The Inveroran Hotel was truly the highlight of my stay in Scotland and I would absolutely recommend it to all the walkers. Well done guys

Nadia and Ewen were excellent and welcoming hosts. The hotel has a cozy feeling that encourages chatting between guests. The pub is well stocked. The food is delicious and fair priced. A great stop after a long day of hiking. The hotel has a lot of character!

The Inveroran Hotel was a true refuge from the road during my West Highland Way walk, and the proprietress--Nadia--set the standard as a welcoming, hospitable hostess. My room, though small, was clean, comfortable and both quiet and dark at night, which ensured a good night's sleep. I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there, and Ewen--Nadia's husband and the hotel's cook--is nothing short of a gourmet chef. Trust me on that. I also loved the coziness of the hotel's large living room (where any/all guests could gather) as well as its cozy little pub. In truth, the Inveroran Hotel felt so homey that I was sad to walk away from it to continue on the West Highland Way. I highly recommend staying there if you want a memorable B&B/inn experience.
