MONDI Bellevue Alm Gastein

I would like to share my experience with Bellevue Alm. The staff is helpful and friendly, and as for the surroundings, it is truly a magical place. I read some reviews about the food, but I had the opportunity to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner here, and the food was always tasty, served hot, and delivered on time—no long waiting. Reviews are certainly important and have become an integral part of our lives, but sometimes they can also harm a well-run establishment. I wish the Bellevue Alm team many satisfied guests, just as my family and I were.

This spot was absolutely incredible. Before I even mention anything else, the people running the restaurant were simply genuine, authentic, incredibly kind and friendly. It made the whole experience a next level of special. We were lucky to go on an evening with live music and got to experience some extra Austrian traditions. The food was fantastic - best schnitzel and best kaiserschmarrn we've ever had. The location is also lovely and the very very old Hütte is very unique and special. We would 100% go here again.

THE FOOD IS AWFUL. Christmas meal ruined. Not only do these absolute scam artists charge almost 5 euros for tap water - yes 5 euros for tap water. The food is so poor. The baked potato that came with the ribs wasn’t even cooked. It was hard inside, raw on the outside. Not even crispy. The ribs themselves were dry, small portioned and they came with what tasted like an ultra processed store bought BBQ sauce on the side. The sauce was cold! The serving size was so small we ordered a side of chips and the chips were burnt. My partners duck was dry and her potatoes were raw. Now the service - crikey - at these prices you think it was good. The bloke we had couldn’t tell his left from rights. First of all, we waited 20 minutes just to see a menu, the bloke couldn’t understand the English or the German on the menu and took about ten minutes finding the items on his device. Then, the mains came out half way through us eating our starters and they didn’t seem to clock how ridiculous and rude that was. Don’t come here. It’s an absolute con distracted by the novelty of taking a chair lift to the top.
