Anglers Retreat Bed and Breakfast

Great for an overnight stay, comfortable beds and friendly hosts. Breakfast was included but we were up and away at 07:00 before breakfast to catch the ferry at 08:00

We were so happy to find this place while walking the Hebridrean Way! After another day of heavy rain and no options for wild camping, we found this place on route. Though the guesthouse was fully booked, we were lucky enough to rent the pod for the night. We really loved our stay in the perfect little pod that has everything you need and feels very cozy. The hosts were absolutely lovely to us; we got some tea on arrival and could dry all our wet stuff in the dry room. Breakfast was also perfect. Great place with excellent hosts! :)

The actual bnb itself was nice however we had booked dinner here and they had given it away before we arrived! After a 50 mile bike ride, this wasn’t great for us. We then had to spend hours trying to phone a taxi to take us to the co-op for food. The Dark Isle hotel up the road was much friendlier.
