Lovely campground. The nicely landscaped area and the modern, clean facilities easily fetch five stars. However, there is no wifi and NO 3G/4G coverage, not even in the village; in typical families a mutiny is on hands pretty soon. For those campers wishing to escape from the social media, this site is definitely 5 stars!!!

Lovely quiet site in a beautiful setting in the village. Great facilities kept immaculately clean. Camping as it should be

We arrived on a Saturday around 1 p.m. The campsite had beautiful pitches, decent restrooms, but no internet connection. At reception, it was indicated that we could pitch on an empty pitch and register when it opened at 5 p.m. In the meantime, we had fully pitched our tent. So we went to register, and the woman at reception told us that this pitch was reserved and that the people (vintage cars) had paid for 3 days, but how could we know it was reserved? We told her there was no "reserved" sign. In short, she told us that there were only 3 free pitches left since there was a gathering of vintage cars at the campsite. We even received a comment that we were being difficult! So we took a pitch next to a tent, and a very friendly woman helped us out. It was impossible to sleep given the noise and yelling around 3 a.m. We reported it to the receptionist, and her response was, "We had to be tolerant!" Reception specified that no noise was allowed after 10 a.m. I did, however, point out that the supposedly reserved and paid-for pitch had been empty for two days. Too bad, we chose the wrong week; the campsite was empty on Monday!
