Camping Polovnik

Very friendly owner, lots of space available even in high season (we came end of August, and only reserved a spot at 5pm for the same night). Great amenities (toilets, showers, washer, dryer, charging stations, cooking station,...) and a nice pizzeria at least than 5' walk from the camping.

Great location, will return again! Loved - Location: perfect for exploring in all directions Facilities: clean, hot water, equipped shared kitchen space Staff: friendly and always on hand. Availability clearly signposted and willing to help Comments - Camping area: small for tents, very close to others, not very private. This wasn’t an issue for us but may be for others. The town: beautiful but Bovec has limited eating out opportunities that are very busy during summer. Take this into consideration if booking. Also has a church bell that rang at 7am waking everyone up. Again, not an issue for us but may bother others. Hot showers are 50 cents for 4 mins. Reception provide change for these. A cold shower was welcomed after a day hiking!

Great place to stay with an amazing view. Quiet and peaceful. There’s a small town nearby, and the Soča River is about 2 km away. The site has everything you need: electricity, water, toilet, shower, kitchen, etc. Friendly owners. The shower is paid. Unfortunately, it was hard to get a moderate temperature — it was either too hot or too cold.
