Cool Cow Camping

A lovely one night stay at Cool Cow. The location is fantastic and facilities are great. Owners were friendly and the honesty shop was brilliant. Music was quite loud from one family group who were singing Oasis at 12:30am, so maybe (no pun intended) a no music policy should be in place or reminded before arrival.

Lovely quiet family campsite, perfect location by the sea. Excellent price and able to book one night which was perfect for us. Compost toilets were surprisingly non-smelly, showers looked ok. Loved the honesty shop. Will hopefully stay again next summer.

Wen found the site really difficult to find using the directions on the website. It is pleasant though with enough space per pitch for our van. The honesty shop is a nice touch It was a little disturbing sitting on the loo with huge gaps in the panelling in the door same with the shower! The compost loos are very smelly so my advice would be to not camp close to them. More bins on the campsite are required instead of just the one at the top of the lane on the way out. good location for the beach just a short walk.
