Camping Vodenca

Big campsite on 3 levels, very close to other campsites. The top level is the most scenic one, open plan with views of the surrounding mountains. Clean facilities, spacious pitches . The cars can be parked very close to the pitch. The reception serves beer and food, but the nearby campsites (within a minute walk) have more bars and restaurants. Lots of hiking trails in the area, the town is a few minutes drive away, with shops and restaurants.

Very nice hikers campsite. Very happy with the kitchen (fridge and stove). Communal phone charging area was great, always room. Many great covered communal picknick tables and drying racks which were useful. We were able to pick any place to pitch our small tent which is nice but can lead to crowding. Sanitary facilities were alright, always clean but later in the day some water pressure dropped some times and heat loss we experienced once. Also great for walkers that you can arrange water sport activities at the reception, you get a small discount and they pick you up. Staff was friendly and approachable. Hiking to town is fine in 25min. Great area for hikers with many trails. Feedback: People (at least we) are happy to clean after ourselves in the kitchen. However would be amazing if there were some cleaning supplies dedicated for the kitchen. I think making it easier for people will make people clean after themselves more. (A rag, soap/ spray). And more then one hook in the showers to hang your items. Will gladly come back once the kanin cable car is up and running again ;)

Good place to camp! Toilets clean, stuff is local and friendly, cost per night round 40-45€ fair 👍🏼 sept.25 Happy 😊
