Dingle Skellig Hotel

I booked this based on the reviews but I shouldn’t have. The rooms are similar to a motorway hotel. I paid for a premium room and it was extremely dated. The hairdryer came from the 1960s and was screwed into the desk. The tv was the cheapest Walker tv you could buy in Aldi. Queen beds don’t exist here, it’s a double. There are no sockets by the bed. It feels like the 1960s. The hotel looks nice overall (apart from the rooms) but they clearly don’t like spending money. The outdoor hot tub they advertise is essentially a large bath for two people. But what lets this hotel down most was the service. They were attentive but extremely rude in all cases. Go here if you want to stay in a hotel that hates its guests.

Had a fantastic stay here with my husband for our anniversary recently. The views are amazing. We visited the spa which was very relaxing. The food was lovely and all staff were very welcoming. We will definitely return!

Went in with my wife for the spa experience, was absolutely brilliant and the team was fantastic there. Went to the bar for the complimentary lunch which was very nice and plentiful. Overall happy with the whole time however. However, would like to highlight a few things that caught our attention. -the sandwiches served with the soup are not listed, there is no menu of sandwiches, just the endless possibilities and combinations of whatever in the kitchen (which you must guess) -when you would like some mustard in the above mentioned sandwiches you receive what I can only describe as an entire weeks supply of mustard on the side. -the desserts were wonderful and very tasty, however it must be mentioned that these are served on one of the largest plates I have ever seen in my life. Larger than an average vinyl record. Was brilliant though, will be back again with friends to experience the mustard and the plates.
