We loved this charming eclectic hotel. Very central (5 minutes from the station and next to the promenade). We booked a room with Lake View (which is just just across the road). Staff were lovely. Breakfast was simple and delicious! (Best. Bread. Ever!) Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel special. The hotel’s unbeatable location on Rue du Marché, just steps from Lake Geneva and the charming promenade, made it the perfect base for exploring Montreux while still feeling intimate and romantic. Our room was beautifully appointed—spotlessly clean, cozy, and full of character, with thoughtful details that made our honeymoon feel truly celebrated. Waking up to the serene surroundings and the gentle rhythm of the town was unforgettable. The comfort of the bed, the elegant décor, and the peaceful ambiance allowed us to fully relax and enjoy this once‑in‑a‑lifetime trip together. The location is excellent and the balcony view is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff is friendly. HOWEVER, none of this matters when the hotel does not provide basic heating in mid-December. When we checked in, the room was ice cold. There is no thermostat in the room to control the temperature. Reception told us that the heating system only works during certain hours of the day. My family, including small children, was shivering in the room wearing jackets and hats. We were given a small electric heater and blankets, but that tiny heater was completely insufficient. By the time it started to warm the room, we had already suffered from the cold. The radiators only turned on at night. This is unacceptable and completely unreasonable for a hotel in winter. A hotel that is otherwise clean, spacious, and has a great view should NEVER leave guests freezing during the day. I strongly DO NOT recommend this hotel in winter, especially for families with children.
