Hotel L'Aiguille Percée

The location and staff could not have been better. Very close to the slopes, and all staff were professional but friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, and the view was stunning. The carpet was a bit threadbare at the joint in it, and the bathroom would benefit from a bathmat for on the tiled floor when stepping out of the shower. The food - breakfast and dinner - was very good with generous portions. Some dinners could have benefitted from a vegetable as well as the meat/ fish and potato, but that's a minor point as the food always tasted great. The bar is a lovely space and the corner window is a great spot to enjoy the bar along with the view. Overall delighted with our choice and our stay, thank you very much.

Great hotel, fantastic location and probably the nicest room we have ever had on many years of skiing holidays. The view from the room (4th floor) was stunning. Cosy bar with log fire. The pool and sauna was very nice although shame the steam room was out of order. The staff were all fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. This review would be five stars if not for the evening meals. The food was generally good, some dishes were excellent but some not so and several dishes came out cold on very cold plates - use of hot plates would really help out here! That said, staff were happy to exchange when this was raised. In our opinion offering a variety of more basic hearty options along with a children’s menu would have been great for hungry skiers and fussy children! Overall I would have gone for four and a half stars but that is not an option here.

The hotel is lovely and our room was very nice however our. Daughters room just next door was completely different The separate toilet room is so small you can’t shut the door while on the loo. The food was terrible there wasn’t enough to feed a puppy I’m burning an extra 1500 calories a day while skiing and there wasn’t enough food or enough variety Only a ne choice of pudding. (Protein and carbs ) I must say the staff were brilliant and so this is no reflection on them head office need look at the menu and make improvements ASAP STOP BEING TIGHT AND SCRIMPING ON FOOD SIZE AND QUALITY.
