Best food I had in Georgia and easily one of the nicest beds. Even helped with the river crossing, which we didn’t end up needing, but appreciated anyway. Rest assured all bases are covered here.

We arrived spontaneously and stayed for 140 Lari in a 4-bedroom as 2 persons including dinner, breakfast and a lunch package. In the beginning of the trek we were a bit surprised about the elevated prices, but the price level is similar in all villages and probably because supplies are more difficult to get. All food, like bread, cheese, stew etc was home-made and so delicious! Very authentic Georgian kitchen. The owners were very accommodating and we felt welcomed. The room had a nice flair as everything was made of wood and we had some view over the town and mountain. Indeed the walls are a bit thin but our neighbors were very nice and calm so no problem for us. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed one night during the trek - hot showers, comfortable rooms, and a good breakfast with enough to take away for lunch later. We wanted to eat at 7 so we could start walking early, but we had to eat at 8 am. Our room was at the front off the balcony and a group of tour guides with their guests were drinking and being noisy until late. Not super relaxing after a long hike and before another long day of trekking 😔
