Restaurant, Bar, Hotel le Taillon

We stopped here for a few pints on a number of occasions after skiing at Gavarnie Gedre. The owners and staff are very friendly and attentive. The beer was a delicious french basque IPA. We loved the place so when our friend came to visit we recommended he booked his stay there. He really enjoyed his stay and said the view from the room was beautiful. On the one evening we ate together we had a fantastic cheese and meat platter and I had the Tallion Burger which was the best burger I've had in a long time, really good!

The location and the service were great here. The breakfast was great too. The vegetarian burger for dinner was higher priced but understandable due to the remote location and made up for it with the good fries, salad and the massive size of the burger itself The single room was small as expected but the bathroom is awkward with the toilet and sink being very cramped. Even with that, it's a good choice to stay at when visiting the Pyrenees.

I liked it, stress they didn’t do a side of fries and my friend wouldn’t share. Breakfast was great, views even better… where else to get a good 8 hours sleeps! Shoutout my guy who took us in when we were gasping and gave us food a bed and couple carlsbergs at 8pm x
